I bought some sausages for Daniel's lunch, which were really tasty but ....too spicy! I bought some things which looked like mini cornish pasties ... so good Daniel asked for seconds. I bought some wotsit resembling crisps but... they were peanut flavoured and not only that they were filled with peanut paste... minging! And for Paul I bought what I thought was a green pepper salad... but it was green chilli salad!
Half of one later I thought my ears were going to fall off!
Luckily I bought a nice bottle of wine and some cake to round off a big day.
Currency here is New Israeli Shekel... and the rate is 4 to a swiss franc, so I was watching my total at the checkout.... going into the hundreds very quickly and thinking my god what have a bought....
Coffee is affordable here and I forgot to fit one in when I was out! A big regret by 3pm...
So Paul was doing some aversion therapy this afternoon in our break... Daniel didn't like the wig so I think this was his way to get in a small nap!

It has been a HOT day here in Israel today and we have pretty much been busy at home. We did round off with a cooling dip in the swimming pool!
Daniel needed a little swing in the hammock at the end of his day! |
Love the wig Paul, it is so you!
